AV&C Technician – Level 2

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an AV&C Technician – Level 2 professional to join a long-term project for a European institution in Brussels.

The role focuses on providing first-level technical support and proximity services for audiovisual equipment used in corporate and local meeting rooms. You will support the preparation of meetings, provide technical assistance when required, troubleshoot audiovisual issues and manage incidents in accordance with established internal procedures.

Your Role:

As an AV&C Technician – Level 2, you will:

• Provide first-level technical support for audiovisual equipment in meeting and conference rooms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AV&C systems.
• Set up and configure interpretation and conference systems.
• Configure and operate complex audiovisual and conference systems.
• Guide users in the correct use of AV systems.
• Manage audiovisual incidents according to established internal workflows.
• Document incidents and technical interventions.
• Organise incident reporting.
• Participate in user, service and project meetings.
• Provide technical support to VIP and VVIP users.
• Train meeting room users on audiovisual systems.
• Contribute to graphic design and concept development activities.

The profile we are looking for:

We are looking for a hands-on audiovisual professional with strong technical expertise in professional meeting and conference environments.

You should have solid experience with audiovisual and IT equipment, videoconferencing technologies, corporate meeting environments and streaming services, as well as the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide high-quality support to users.

You should also be comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment, with a strong customer-service mindset and good team spirit.

Desired Qualifications:

Candidates should meet at least one of the following Level 2 requirements:

• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in the audiovisual and conference field; or
• At least one relevant certificate combined with 3 years of relevant professional experience; or
• An Associate Degree EQF5 or equivalent qualification combined with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience.

Additional Information:

• Location: Brussels, Belgium
• Working regime: Full-time
• Services are typically provided Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 19:59.
• In exceptional circumstances, work outside normal working days or hours may be required.
• Availability after 17:00 may occasionally be required to ensure business continuity.
