About the Opportunity
We are looking for an AV&C Technical & Logistical Support – Junior professional to join a long-term project for a European institution in Brussels.
This is a hands-on technical and logistical role focused on supporting audiovisual and conference environments. You will assist more experienced technical profiles, provide basic operational support to users, and help with the installation, movement, maintenance and tracking of audiovisual equipment and related infrastructure.
Your Role:
As an AV&C Technical & Logistical Support – Junior, you will:
- Perform preventive maintenance of AVMIT&C infrastructure by following documented procedures.
- Provide basic operational assistance to end-users based on documented procedures and detailed technical instructions.
- Assist more experienced technical professionals in their daily activities by following technical instructions.
- Replace basic AVMIT&C equipment such as microphones, headphones and similar devices.
- Move audiovisual equipment, furniture, scaffolding, podiums and other related elements.
- Mount and unmount audiovisual equipment, furniture, scaffolding, podiums and similar installations.
- Track audiovisual equipment and other assets.
- Support the reception, surveying, tracking, storage and movement of AVMIT&C equipment in coordination with project implementation teams.
- Follow established technical protocols and procedures when performing assigned tasks.
The profile we are looking for:
- At least 1 year of professional experience in the field.
- Ability to understand and execute technical protocols and instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a practical, hands-on technical and logistical environment.
- Able to work in an international and multicultural environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Key Skills:
- Basic knowledge of audiovisual equipment.
- Basic technical troubleshooting and operational support.
- Preventive maintenance.
- Audiovisual equipment handling.
- Equipment installation and removal.
- Asset and equipment tracking.
- Technical and logistical support.
- Ability to follow documented technical procedures and instructions.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to climb a ladder and carry up to 20 kg.
Desired Qualifications:
- National certification allowing work on scaffolding up to 4 metres in height.
- Very good knowledge (B2 level or higher) of either English or French.
- Good knowledge (B1 level or higher) of the other language is recommended.
Additional Information:
- Location: Brussels, Belgium.
- Working regime: Part-time, 20 hours per week.
